Today I'm doing what I do best and getting out and about where the tourists don't go in the backstreets of Bangkok. Today I headed to Bangkok's most famous (and arguably the most beautiful) temple Wat Arun, The Temple of Dawn to show you where you should eat next time you are on a Bangkok temple tour. Why tourists don't explore here is beyond me. There's so much good, authentic local Thai food down the backstreets here. Non more so than at Mui Lee Chicken Rice which serve up, as the name suggests some awesome khao mun gai and also fried chicken and grilled chicken. Directions to Mui Lee https://goo.gl/maps/QKgR2TJYtA5qQt3c8 Right outside is Mae Ploy, selling khanom tuay and just up from here is a great little khanom sai sod/khanom sai sai shop. A very good for the price coffee to finish up at Gun's Bake across the main street: https://goo.gl/maps/wcnBwqo6mFMZYJ3M6 This is a prime example of why I love Bangkok so much. There’s just so much food to explore here! Whether you are in Chinatown, the Old City, Thonburi or here in Sukhumvit, you can always find amazing Thai food in Bangkok ________________________________________________________________________ If you’d like to support my little channel: Straight to Bank (no fees): https://monzo.me/garymarkbutler Paypal: https://paypal.me/theroamingcook https://www.buymeacoffee.com/garybutler Get a t-shirt here: https://my-store-c4478c.creator-sprin... I’m obsessed with Thai street food and it’s that obsession that led me to start this YouTube channel. I want to share my favourite hidden spots in Bangkok and the rest of Thailand so you can fall in love with authentic, local Thai food as much as I have! I’ve never understood travelling to a town or city and not eating the local food. How else do you really connect with a place? Let’s get out and explore together and I guarantee you’ll find a whole different side to this wonderful country. If you love seeing off the beaten path, non-touristy, local life and authentic local life in Bangkok and Thailand then this is the channel for you. If go go bars on the Sukhumvit Road are more your thing (I’m not judging) then maybe not! #bangkok2023 #thaistreetfood #bangkokstreetfood
