Gorges de la Nesque

After meeting in the centre of Villes-sur-Auzon and heading out of the town we almost immediately turned right onto the Gorges de la Nesque road. After stopping and admiring the view many times before getting to the top we finally reached the summit of the climb. At the top we were greeted by a half naked farmer and his family of boar. A speedy descent down into the medieval village of Monieux, lead us onto the Sault road. Just before arriving in the town we took the Route de Sault towards Methamis. For some unknown reason the entire road down to Methamis was gravel. Maybe it was being surfaced? Who knows. Anyway I'm sure usually it's a great descent, but sadly not for us this year.
