Collectors of WWII German helmets know the importance of understanding details like liners, national shields, decals, and chemical aging, and this video shows exactly why buying from trusted dealers is so critical. The first German helmet examined looked convincing at first glance, but the liner was completely wrong, the decals seemed off, and the national shield resembled a color photocopy instead of a wartime original.
