Brief Synopsis: Anthony Geary stars as ex-convict Cade, a charming guy with a habit of fanciful lying. Fresh out of prison, he is desperate to win back the love of his old girlfriend Julie (Lorna Patterson), but Julie doesn't want anything to do with him. Cade doesn't give up easy, though, so he fakes his way into being the principal of the school where she works -- hence he is "The Impostor" of the film's title. Cade soon begins to take a sincere interest in the welfare of his students, and enlists the help of his old jail buddy Matthew (Billy Dee Williams) to help him rid the school of its drug problem. Comedy, action, drama and a little romance actually blend well in this film and the result is simply a good story.
