Completion is on the horizon!! Wow....what a learning experience. I would like to thank the guys at Film Tech for the great support and also Magnatech in Atlanta for putting this amazing piece of gear up on ebay! Film is not dead! It's great to find new collectors taking up this amazing hobby as I did. Film has become the latest obsolete technology to find a home with tech collectors. Film prints are becoming easier to find. (although I can truly understand why they all went digital. Blues Brothers was 7 reels and 85lbs....and very expensive to ship.) Our takeup stand is being finished with it's new motor. It runs kind-of warm so i'm shrouding the motor with a fan. In the mean time, a more elaborate film path is always more fun!!!! First time I saw a platter system was shortly after I started studying all of this. At the time, I could never envision this amazing gear in my posession......
