Hi everyone! You want to learn jazz improvisation? What are the first steps? Most of the time the answer is "learn theory, all the scales, all the chords, the phrasing, hear jazz music" and so on.... Nothing wrong with that, but maybe a little overwhelming at first! I want to try something different now. I composed a simple little jazz solo, designed to get you into jazz playing very quickly! YOU SHOULD: 1. Learn the entire solo etude by heart! 2. Try to copy my sound and phrasing as close as possible (play unisono with me)! 3. Play the etude on your own with the playback later in this video! 4. Check my next video for a breakdown of the concepts used. I hope that this method will help you.
