Ophelia, the Puppet Master, bent on collecting powers for herself sees a prophecy of her destroyer and plots to kill Daisy before she fully develops her abilities. Foreseen by a powerful portal creator, Daisy was transported 2 centuries into the past. Lost and confused, she seeks out the Original family of vampires. The Mikaelsons adopt her as their sister. She frees Finn from his box, rehabilitates him into his life and creates a close bond with Kol, confiding in him that he would one day find his love and have a niece, a secret she tells no one else. She confides in Finn that Freya is still alive and under a curse, a secret also kept between the two. Because Finn and Daisy technically shouldn't exist in history, they remain spectators, collecting spells and objects they need to prepare for a future Daisy knows is coming. This strengthens their bond even further. Kol does so as well, in secret, in New Orleans. To prolong Daisy's life, Niklaus and Daisy are bound by blood by a witch. This way Daisy remains human, but is also immortal. Little did they know that Daisy would inherit his genome and bloodline just as a blood sibling, including turning into a wolf, something her original biological family has no history of. Daisy struggles mentally, has multiple breakdowns, but all of her beloved siblings are always there for her, embracing her, caring for her. Rebekah and Daisy's sister bond makes them best friends and Niklaus finds a kindred spirit in Daisy. The odd one out is Elijah. While Daisy and all of their other siblings refer to each other as brother and sister, Elijah and Daisy spend over a full century referring to each other by name. An intimate friendship and familial connection always present, but it took time, broken hearts from other relationships, for Elijah and Daisy to realise they are actually in love with one another. Despite her love for her brother, Daisy distances herself from Niklaus so that he may become unhinged and feel alone. Feeling abandoned by his family, he creates hybrids and eventually meets Hayley, Hope's mother. Hayley grows to love Jackson and they marry. Daisy, knowing that Finn, Kol, Jackson and Hayley would die, and that Hope would grow up without her father, spends two centuries planning how to save them at the exact right moment without disrupting the timeline. Meeting Freya a century before they were meant to, Daisy powers the pendant to revive both Finn and Kol after their sire-lines die out. She also has Niklaus kill Hayley's murderer a century prior to her death. She practices the skill of holding one's soul even as their heart is ripped from their body, so that she may revive Jackson. She also collects the venom of all the wolf packs so that Finn, Kol and Elijah can be immediately healed from an enhanced vampire's bites and intervenes in situations that would destroy familial bonds like Elijah blindly attempting to prevent the prophecy that would be his family's undoing by killing Marcel. Early in the 1800's, after the blood bond was created with Niklaus and before Marcel is adopted as his ward, Daisy begins to discover unusual powers seemingly tied to the elements of the Earth. With time she becomes skilled in combat and controlling her powers which she discovers come from her bond with the Earth: She can create energy, absorb it and channel it, from any form to any other form of energy. Her strongest form are seismic vibrations. Daisy begins to realise that her dropping through a portal 2 centuries into the past isn't a coincidence but a means to an end. She is meant to change the world, specifically take down Ophelia and other powered individuals willing to do others harm. Daisy becomes a close Aunt to Hope and a friend of Hayley's, especially because Hayley is able to guide Daisy through her transformation as a wolf multiple times. Even though she is essentially a half blood sibling of Niklaus (the first hybrid) and immortal, the Mikaelsons don't know (and don't want to test), her mortality. Through multiple physical traumas in the past, they discovered she doesn't heal as fast as an immortal which causes her family to be extremely cautious with protecting her wellbeing. Regardless, Daisy is brutally murdered while her siblings are left powerless to protect her. Not being able to revive her, they keep her body safe hoping they may find a way. Unexpectedly, Daisy heals and revives on her own.
