Le matin, direction Cran aux Œufs, un classique du Nord pour le soaring. Le vent est bien orienté, les falaises portent, et on se retrouve à surfer la masse d’air au ras du relief, avec cette sensation unique de flotter au-dessus de la mer. Des couleurs d’hiver, un ciel chargé, mais une atmosphère incroyable en compagnie de ‪@ronicboom76‬ ! On enchaîne les runs, on joue avec les ascendances, on profite du terrain et du vent qui tient juste ce qu’il faut. Pure joie de pilote. Puis, sans prévenir, la journée bascule vers un tout autre décor. En fin d’après-midi, on rejoint un spot secret, caché quelque part sur la côte… un endroit préservé, parfait pour une sunset session comme on n’en vit pas souvent. Le sable, les dunes, la lumière dorée qui rase l’horizon, et cette impression d’être seul au monde. Le vent se pose, la brise se stabilise, et l’aile devient légère entre les mains. On vole dans le silence, juste accompagné par le bruit de la mer. Un moment suspendu. Deux ambiances, deux émotions, une seule journée. C’est exactement pour ça qu’on vole. Pour ces instants qui ne se répètent jamais vraiment, pour ces lumières, pour ces terrains de jeu qui changent sans cesse. The morning starts at Cran aux Œufs, a classic coastal soaring spot in Northern France. The wind is clean, the cliffs are working, and you get that magical feeling of gliding along the ridge with the sea just beneath your feet. Winter colors, a moody sky, but an atmosphere that feels unreal. You link runs, play with lift, carve along the terrain, and enjoy a wind that holds just enough for pure flying pleasure. Then the day shifts into something else entirely. By late afternoon, we head to a secret spot, hidden somewhere along the coast… the perfect place for a rare sunset session. Soft sand, quiet dunes, and warm golden light melting into the horizon. The breeze settles, the glider becomes feather-light, and the world goes silent. Just the sound of the sea and the wing breathing above you. A moment outside of time. Two moods. Two landscapes. One single day. That’s exactly why we fly. For those moments that never really happen the same way twice — for the light, the air, the ever-changing playgrounds.
