Gaza Sderot | OFFICIAL TRAILER | A film by Robby Elmaliah & Khalil al Muzayyen

Based on the multi-award-winning internet project on daily life in Gaza (Palestine) and Sderot (Israel) in 2008, the film documents the daily life of regular people in Palestine and Israel over two months in 2008. The stories were aired on a website where users also had access to the videos, blogs, forums, and links. The film goes beyond these stories and shows the people behind them. An internet project reported on life as experienced by men, women and children in Gaza (Palestine) and Sderot (Israel) October-December 2008: their lives and their survival on a daily basis. Under difficult living conditions and the threat of air attacks and bombings, people do keep on working, loving and dreaming. Life in spite of everything. In order to document this will to live, short chronicles (2 minutes each) were shot by both Israeli and Palestinian teams, day after day for two months. These short stories followed seven characters from Gaza and seven from Sderot. In this way, we had a new story of each character every week, and the viewer was able to follow them intimately for 10 weeks. The stories were aired via the Internet on a specially designed website and users had a personal, interactive and non-linear access to these contents on the site which included the videos, blogs, forums and links. The film "GAZA SDEROT" consists of the clips from the website and goes beyond a reconstruction of the filming, showing a new point of view.
