Recorded on December 17, 2023, 12/17/2023, or 17.12.2023 This is a full/complete ride of Miami-Dade Transit (MDT) Metrobus Route 338 Weekend Express Eastbound (2020 New Flyer XN40; 20188) from Dolphin Mall to Miami Airport Station via State Road 836/Dolphin Expressway. Route 338 is an express service that operates on Saturdays, Sundays, and on holidays, from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM. In addition, this route makes one stop at Miami International Mall. The trip starts at Dolphin Mall, in Sweetwater. At Dolphin Mall, passengers can transfer to Miami-Dade Transit Metrobus (Routes 7 and 107), Sweetwater Trolley, and Doral Trolley (Route 1). OPINIONS AND OBSERVATIONS: I think this is a convenient route for weekends because lots of people usually go shopping, especially people who don't live in Florida. It was unexpected to see that lots of people are using this route on weekends. Unfortunately, the wait time for the bus is 1 hour, which is not worth the time or hassle to get to the airport because you can easily miss your flight if you miss the bus. Hopefully, MDT will shorten the wait time. Overall, I might recommend this service only for weekends because it's faster and better than Uber and Taxi.
