All of us like to think we are great cataract surgeons. I'm no different than anyone else. I've practiced this a lot. I've been doing manual cataract surgeries for over 10 years. I've gotten really good at doing manual capsulotomies. I can do that if I need to but there is no competing with a laser. I don't care how good you get with your hands your not going to compete with the precision of a laser. That's been my personal experience and it's interesting we even have this debate anymore. I'm surprised to hear there are femto naysayers out there. I think most of those are surgeons who either haven't tried it yet, so maybe they haven't watched it live to see 10 or 100 done, maybe they haven't done 10 or 100, or many they are using a different system. But I know after you do 10 or 100 LENSAR cataract surgeries you'll be making the same obvious conclusion I do which is that this is way more precise, safer in my opinion, and there's no doubt. It's easy to see when you try it."
