It is a Bulgarian-made SAM7R NJ Compliant rifle that is technically a AK-47 rifle. It fires the 7.62 X 39mm round. When someone says, "Kalashnikov" it's synonymous to the AK-47 combat rifle. The AK-47 was created by Mikhail Timofeyevich Kalashnikov in the late 1940s in the USSR. It is gas operated and fires a 7.62 X 39mm round. This weapon is the most widely mass produced firearm in the world by different nations. It is a symbol of revolution, liberation, and freedom, but also a symbol of fear and dread.
