This video shows how to drain and fill fluid (gear oil) of Hyundai Veracruz 2009 transfer case. The transfer case is a particularly important part of the power train system. Neglecting it and failing to change the fluid regularly would permanently damage the gears inside the box. Main tools needed are mentioned in this video as well. Removing the fill plug is the most challenging portion of this work. Everything else is easy. Be patient in removing the fill plug before draining the fluid. You would need a hammer persuasion and patience in case the fill plug is very tight and hard to remove. Impact gun is a necessary tool to remove the fill plug since it simulates a hammer while turning loose the fill plug. Keep safe and use the right tools properly.
