Tobi Amusan Has Broken the Commonwealth Record.

Tobi Amusan has set a new commonwealth record in the 100 meters hurdles with a run of 12.30 seconds to beat the previous record mark of 12.65. This is actually not surprising as she ran 12.40 seconds in the semi finals. This would have been a record but it was ran beyond the legal wind limit Africa usually does well in the long distance runs and we do occasionally produce some fine athletes for the short distances. But in the hurdles, never have we seen an athlete from Africa like Tobi Amusan. She is the African, world and commonwealth record holder of the event.
