The Open Society Foundations (OSF) as a whole is undergoing a transformation to better situate ourselves in the current economic and political context globally, with a view to increasing our impact on issues we care about... The Africa transformation offers a number of opportunities to better serve our continent. Working as one entity will enable us to respond holistically to Africa’s challenges and opportunities. Our strategy will remain flexible to respond to crises and opportunities in specific African nations or sub-regions. For our partners, we aim to have more resources available for the field. This means we will have more to invest in the issues we care about, committed to and consistent with open society values.
