Home to heritage sites of national significance, Aigle is the perfect stop for an intimate tour of wine history and the surrounding history of the local wine. This hidden gem houses Aigle Castle, now a wine museum called Musée de la Vigne et du vin et de l'étiquette. Right next to it is a large 500 years old tithe barn known as Maison de la dîme. The Swiss Reformed Church of Saint-Maurice is also listed as Swiss heritage site of national significance. However, this place is not just for wine-lovers. It also has several parks, including a rope park (Parc Aventure) and a car museum with several rare vintage vehicles.This quaint Swiss town also houses the World Cycling Centre - a velodrome with a 200 metre track, making it a fantastic place for a cycling holiday!
