Morosini death - mayor condemns policeman's "unforgettable act"

Italian football fans have continued to pay tribute to Livorno's Piermario Morosoni, who died after collapsing during a Serie B match at Pescara on Sunday. An autopsy was carried out on Monday but the exact cause of death is yet to be determined. Morosini is believed to have suffered a cardiac arrest; toxicology tests have now been ordered. The mayor of Pescara has called for a further investigation after the parked car belonging to a local traffic policeman delayed the arrival of an ambulance into the stadium. The policeman has been suspended from his post and has accepted full responsibility. One of the car's windows had to be broken in order for it to be moved, and the mayor, Luigi Albore Mascia, revealed he was taking the issue seriously. Mascia said the policeman had committed "an unforgettable act that is serious."
