How to Clean the MAF and Air Filter on a RB20DET - 1993 Nissan Skyline - How-To - Pasty-T Garage

What's up Party People? In this episode we will be cleaning the air filter and the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor on the RB20DET engine. Since this is a dry filter the cleaning process is pretty straight forward: remove the filter, spray filter with a small amount of air pressure, reinstall filter. For the MAF sensor we are using specially formulated cleaner to avoid damaging the filament in the sensor. WARNING: NEVER USE BRAKE CLEANER OR HIGH PRESSURE AIR TO CLEAN THE MAF SENSOR. DOING SO CAN DAMAGE THE SENSOR AND CAUSE FAILURE. Recommended to use CRC Mass Air Flow Sensor Cleaner or equivalent.
