“No evidence…” Pentagon clarifies on Iran’s role in suspicious drones hovering over New Jersey

The Pentagon on Dec 11 said that there was no evidence that drones spotted over New Jersey were from a foreign entity or adversary. Dy Pentagon Press Secy Sabrina Singh dismissed a claim by US lawmaker that they were launched from Iranian "mothership”. Singh said that US has no evidence that the activities are coming from a foreign entity or the work of an adversary. She also added that the drones spotted were not from US military either and issue was being investigated by local law enforcement. Singh also added that US military had not shot down any drones since they did not pose a threat to any military installations. Republican Congressman Jeff Van Drew on Dec 11 alleged that the drones were being launched from an Iranian "mothership".
