With a background in biomedical engineering, Dr. Wright is an innovator, utilizing new surgical techniques and consulting as an industry professional for several firms. Her interests include OR cost-effectiveness, the role of the minimally invasive gynecologic surgeons in improving outcomes and options for women, credentialing in laparoscopy training and education, and the evolution of resident surgical education through simulation and changing technology.
