This is a companion piece to "Or Something," a feature film I co-wrote and co-star in with Kareem Rahma, now streaming on MUBI. Using footage from the film, it's a reflection from Olivia's perspective. The song is a special cover of “Semi-Charmed Life” by Third Eye Blind, performed by Jillian Medford (Ian Sweet), who also composed the original score for our film. "Or Something" is about two strangers who show up at the same Brooklyn apartment to collect cash they’re both owed. Forced to spend the day together on a journey through New York City to find the promised money, the pair begin to open up to one another and reveal intimate details about their lives.
