My composition "Dave Time" is an adaptation of the famous Dave Brubeck composition "Blue Rondo A La Turk". The 9/8 time is divided as follows: 2-2-2-3. This results in a quasi-extended 4/4 measure. Now and then I mix in the following groups: 3-3-3. This then results in a 3/4 measure divided by triplets. The harmonic progression is a simple circle of fifth like "Autum Leaves", "Fly Me To The Moon" and many other pieces. The PDF sheet music to "Dave Time" can be purchased for € 5.
