Get ready for 5 intensive days of focussed flamenco training. Benefit from and experience it the way we do in Spain, right here in Singapore. 🇸🇬🇪🇸 𝐅𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞 (Wed 7 May - Sun 11 May 2025): https://spanishdance.sg/manuelbetanzo... 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 💃 Get a FULL choreography in ONE intensive week 💃 Experience it with original recording of the song and music we recorded with our musicians in Spain, specially for this dance. 💃Did you know the Zorongo can be danced in different rhythms such as the Bulerías por Solea (12-beat) and the Tangos? Come experience this! 💃 This choreography will be fielded in an Open Call project this November. 💃 Falsetas – What are flamenco falsetas? They are the instrumental part of a dance, played by the guitarist. I love falsetas as they tend to be very lyrical, present ideal moments in our dance for body work. This year, we’ll focus on the Falseta of the Tango de Málaga. The material can also be adapted for the palos of Farruca, Garrotin, Tientos & Tarantos. Understand that you can be versatile and give each of them their ‘clima’ mood & style. ------------- 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐂𝐓 𝐎𝐑𝐆𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐑 Tania Goh / Spanish Dance Singapore Email: [email protected] -------------------- 𝐆𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 i. That's when you can grow your capacity as a soloist, experience tablao-flamenco with your own spontaneity and improvisation! Manuel Betanzos is great at teaching these skills! So don't miss out learning from this maestro! ii. What are flamenco songs about? Think of them like a poem or story. The letras (lyrics) of this Zorongo are by Spain's famous poet, Federico García Lorca.
