During my Herbalist Hour interview with Bevin Clare, we had a guest question from Camille Freeman. She asked "what is the strangest tasting herb?" One of Bevin's answers was asafoetida, which I had never heard of. In true Bevin fashion, she immediately sent me some! So we decided to record a video of me trying it for the first time. Asafoetida is commonly used in Indian cooking and also has some medicinal properties. I'm excited to experiment with it more in some culinary creations.
