TCP Protest Row: Two FIRs Filed, Viresh Borkar Among 25 Named

Two FIRs have been registered in connection with the protest held at the Town and Country Planning (TCP) Department office. Around 20 persons have been named in the complaints, including St Andre MLA Viresh Borkar. According to police sources, the FIRs have been filed over allegations that protesters marched to the government department and that approximately 10 TCP files were stolen during the agitation. The cases pertain to alleged unlawful assembly and theft of official documents. As of now, no arrests have been reported in connection with the incident. Police investigation is underway.
