I for sure don't have flawless skin but I have gotten pretty good at faking it. In this video I demonstrate how I make my skin "look" flawless with my favorite products and techniques. The products I use in this video are really the key to achieve perfect looking skin. I love testing out new products and am researching products out there and these are some of the cosmetics I am the most passionate about. But before you begin, ALWAYS make sure you start with clean hands and a clean face. I always wash my face with a Clarisonic Mia [http://bit.ly/1psUMqz] before applying my makeup because it help exfoliate and removes dry skin and it works miracles on pores and black heads.Making sure your hands are clean will reduces the odds of bacteria getting on your face when doing your make up which prevents those annoying breakouts. Keeping your makeup brushes clean will also prevent breakouts and prolong the life of your brushes. If your skin has red undertones, like me, go for a green color correcting primer or a color correcting stick. The green counter-acts the red and will give you a nice natural skin tone. Either way, always use a primer before you apply your foundation, this will ensure that your make up will stay fresh and flawless all day long. Tip: Allow your liquid makeup to set or dry completely before stages to prevent makeup from gathering and causing an uneven finish. I always apply my face products starting in my "hot zones", then work my way to the outer frame of my face. My "hot zones" are the areas I need the most coverage, which for me, happens to be around my nose, chin, and forehead. AKA, the t-zone. Always use light pressure when you apply products to your face. You do not want to press too hard and get the blood circulating, which will actually make your skin even redder than you began with. Using light pressure will also help reduce smudges and creases in your makeup for a more blended finish. My favorite method for applying foundation is with a foundation brush like the HD Micro-Airbrush I used in this video. Using a brush makes it easier to apply evenly, layer for more coverage, and blend for a natural look. If you find that your brush is causing streaks chances are it just needs to be cleaned. I use a much larger and fluffier brush for my powder finish to set my makeup completely and for just a touch more coverage when I need it. I also use a beauty blender on and around my nose to for a more flat matte finish to disguise the appearance of my pores. Your skin is the canvas for the rest of your makeup so it makes sense to invest in the right product and tools to give you the best starting point for your full makeup look.
