Moments like these are what anglers dream of — seeing the fish suspended on the sonar, following the bait down, and finally connecting. After a few attempts and observing a handful of good walleyes on the screen, it became clear: the afternoon bite might just turn on, and we were officially on the board. Return to a Beloved State Al and I made our way back to North Dakota, a place both of us have grown to love for its incredible fishing opportunities. This time, our destination was the Indian Hills Resort. We’ve fished various lakes in the state before — Lake Oahe, Devils Lake, Lake Sakakawea, Audubon, and more.
