Zeus presents Comix Zone for the Megadrive played on my PS3, a true classic from the golden era of megadrive gaming which must not be forgotten alongside the software house and all programmers that were involved in making this game. Release date: 1995 Very unique beat'em-up this, not just because it came in the twilight years of the Megadrive's life but it's the unusual way it's designed. The whole game is set in a comic book style, even the fighters are drawn in during the game when a hand appears and sketches them in, pretty cool I must say. The game plays well and there are plenty of baddies to beat up on the way, you even get to choose which way through the comic book you want to take when arrows pointing in different directions appear which makes the game have more interest factor when you play it again. The idea is you must reach the comic book sketcher and rescue your girl before she drowns in the container the big bad guy has encased her in. As there hasn't been a longplay of this showing the bad ending where your girl drowns on youtube so far, I decided to do just that, the end credits still appear it's just that you get slightly different text if you rescue your girl in time. A very entertaining and unusual beat'em-up indeed, worth playing if you haven't as of yet! I have used the infinite energy cheat so I could upload the entire game for your viewing pleasure. As this is from a PS3 compilation, I cannot be for sure how accurate this is, only hard core Comix Zone megadrive fans will know for sure if there are any differences. Hope all you Megadrive fans enjoy this upload. Please note: NONE of my game uploads are emulated in any way whatsoever, they are 100% original recordings by myself taken directly from the original hardware the game was intended for, that way you know you're watching the real thing (but not in this upload, ps3 emulation). I will also always state weather i am using any cheats in the game, if not mentioned then i am not using any.
