This was during the Flare dune event organised by Pedro. I was a bit late to the party and missed the first few days of flying. This was 2 days after my last video at Vejeres. We took the 2 hour drive North the day before, arrived late evening to a honky 35 knots. It was that windy I nearly got seasick falling asleep in the van. Fabian and I got up for session on the15's at sunrise. The wind slowly backed off throughout the day until we were flying the 22's. It was a big morning of flying with a mix of conditions, we met a few new people and did a bunch of demo's. Bovbjerg is a great flying site in my opinion. You can fly North to Ferring which is a bit lower and takes more WNW or you can fly south to Trans Kirke that takes more WSW. Terrain varies a lot too with some really cool features. Diverse paragliding site for Denmark with changing terrain and aspect. Highly recommend! In Denmark there are a number of military firing ranges that include ridges and dunes ideal for coastal soaring. It is allowed fly in these areas as long as they are open to the public.
