The backdrop of the film is the state of Kashmir, which is the only Muslim-majority state of India and which has been engaged in a militant separatist struggle since the 1990s. The film has been endorsed by right-wing Hindus, including the BJP government of India led by Narendra Modi, but criticized by Muslims and human rights advocates as a tool of Indian propaganda against the Muslim peoples of Kashmir. In this interview and discussion with Professor Christopher Snedden, we try to ascertain and better understand the situation in Kashmir in a more sober and academic fashion. Dr. Christopher Snedden is a political scientist and a retired professor of South Asian studies with a specialization in Kashmiri history and politics. He is the author of "The Untold Story of the People of Azad Kashmir" (2012), "Understanding Kashmir and Kashmiris" (2015), and "Independent Kashmir: An Incomplete Aspiration" (2021). #kashmir #thekashmirfiles #kashmiripandits ____________________________________________________________________________________________ 👉 SUBSCRIBE NOW! -▶ https://www.youtube.com/c/ThatCanadia... 👉 LIKE | SHARE | COMMENT ____________________________________________________________________________________________ © 2022 Sadat - That Canadian Brother.
