Why I love to stalk online auctions🤣

I absolutely am an online auction junkie. I will definitely be sharing more of my finds and more of my favorite places on my channel so make sure you subscribe!😉  I am currently filming in the auction gallery of our store Hunt And Gather Vintage Market, which is located in Princeton Massachusetts. We have a 7000 square-foot multi Dealer shop, but we also have a fabulous online auction area where you can view items on auction. We sell on both auction ninja and live auctioneers. I highly recommend setting up an account on both websites because the auction houses have some really great pieces. Most of our auctions start pretty low. We don’t really start the bidding too high on anything. This allows the customers to pay or bid in amounts that they are comfortable with. Auctions are a lot of fun and you can get some really good deals. Keep in mind you are fighting against other dealers and collectors so sometimes prices can go higher than you’re comfortable with. My advice is just back out when you reach the number that you’re OK with and don’t go any higher. There are added fees when bidding on auction items and that includes buyers premium, which is how the auction house makes money. So usually they run between 10 and 30% of the price of the item. While the bidding process can be exciting, you do not want to get in over your head. Bidding is a contracted purchase, which means the auction house can press charges if you choose not to pay. Also always make sure you read the description fully for all of the information on that particular item and do not hesitate to reach out to The auction house for more information. You want to know as much as you can about a particular item you are bidding on because sometimes they don’t always show you everything. I usually am my own advocate and ask as many questions and ask for as many photos in addition to the ones they already posted to make sure that I bid correctly. Auctions are so much fun, but you definitely wanna learn about them if you have no experience with them. The bulk of items I’ve purchased in my home have come from various different auctions so the deals you can get are insane!  Just bear all of that in mind when you place your bid.
