Hugh Jones (aka Crewdson) has created the Concertronica, an instrument that combines the concertina with a MIDI controller, and allows you to manipulate music from a totally new perspective. The left hands buttons capture loops and samples and the right side activates effects from Ableton Live. In between these are four strings on a x/y axis giving you may different ways to manipulate the sounds. It is almost like having sound waves in between both your hands as you pull and contract materials together in an incredibly tactile and visually expressive way.
