That was fun to roll through so many roars and attacks! I find Brutie easier to deal with than the regular Tigrex due to his long roars which give me plenty of time to shoot. Turn on CC for Commentary There's a few different ways you can open this hunt with: (1) Signature Ms. Cake opener: 3slaps Agitate + tenderize his face before he even sees you. Then tenderize his arm the 1st chance you get (use para to create an opening or wait till he roars). This method will get you agitator lvl 7 bonus right away and opportunity to shoot his tenderized head from the start as well. (2) Open with 3 Volleys of RF Sticky 2's to K.O him and tenderize his arm and head. Then, put the mines down and start shooting. (3) Pure RFN3 run ( no para. no K.O ) where you tenderize his arm right before his initial roar & start shooting. I went with the 3rd version because, it allows me to dish out most damage whereas, in the first two versions, I lose the chance to deal damage while claw-slapping him or trying to immobilize him with para or sticky's. No ClawSlap-agitator because Brutie gets angry fast and you'll get a chance to tenderize his head during a clagger anyways. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tips for Lightbreak Gunners: ---------------------------------------------- Focus on only 1 arm. Always keep the fight in the middle of the arena so you can freely slide to any direction. It's easy to get cornered by Brutie. You can roll away at the right moment to dodge his Choo Choo Train + Tail Spin attack (Evade Window 5 helps a lot) Whenever you get a clagger (drool stagger), quickly shoot 1 volley, then tenderize, then shoot another volley before he recovers. Try to shoot his head whenever he falls down, If his head is already tenderized, you will deal 400+ damage per volley to his head. Always stay close to him so that you can stay underneath him during his Sonic Beam sweep. If you're too far, superman dive to dodge it. Put down at least one mine as early as possible in his path for max dmg. Keep in mind that tenderized effect lasts 3 minutes. So, prioritize to re-tenderize the part that is about to expire its tender effect (head or arm). As usual, don't get greedy. Know when to stop shooting so you can dodge out of harm's way or you'll get hit because you're locked in place due to high recoil.
