The Kickstarter for Dreich is now live and you can donate here! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/cinfr... To help everybody see our vision for what the film would be like and what we are capable of, we got together a small crew and shot this trailer on a shoestring budget across two days of filming. Dreich is an independent low budget feature film, to be part of the journey and get exclusive perks. “When his friend tries to rip off a psychotic drug dealer, a homeless man battling drug addiction has one night to get together enough money to save them both.” CONTENT WARNING - Contains Discussion of and Scenes of Suicide “Mortem depicts harsh realities around suicide and grief” Mortem tells the story of James who teeters on the edge, attempting to take his own life. At this point his perception of reality collapses and we join James on an odyssey through his own psyche on route to an emotional epiphany. #shortfilm #suicideprevention #mentalhealth This film explores complications around suicide from different perspectives. We feel that suicide is a tragedy for the victim but also their loved ones; feelings of guilt, anger, frustration and despair. We hope that our film can be another voice to say that it’s okay not to be okay. With an original presentation of these ideas that confront the unhealthy mantra of bottling up and carrying on, to show that reaching out for help is perfectly okay.
