This time I made an open mirror box so that you can see what exactly happening while trapping the light in the light trapping mirror box. Two big reflecting mirrors were placed at around 90-degree angle to each other. Another small mirror was held in front of them. A laser pointer was the source of the light in this experiment. The three mirrors make a triangle. If the laser beam is focused on any mirror, it reflects the beam towards another mirror which pushes the light to the next mirror and this process is repeated over and over again. As a result, the light bean travels inside the mirror box. This is the theoretical way to trap light. Some people asked how long this light can be trapped in the trapping box. The answer is the light trapping point or trapping light with mirrors is only possible with a continuous light source. If the source of light is stopped the beam inside the box also stopped.
