I wanted to change the red dot finder on my Celestron Nexstar 127 SLC, but couldn't find a finder scope that fit my needs. Then, I had an idea. After much searching, I came across the Fire Wolf 3x28 rifle scope. When I ordered it, it was only available through Ebay or Ali Express. It wasn't availabe on Amazon. Note: the crosshair looks blurry in the video, but it's actually crisp and sharp when viewed through the scope. PRO: *There are 5 levels of brightness for each color. The red LED is very dim and perfect for preserving night vision. *It will fit 11mm or 20mm rails. Just unscrew the clamps and flip them upside down to change size. *3X magnification. *Not too heavy (8.7 oz.) *Correct image. *Super long eye relief. Usable distance is between 1 and 5 inches. *Sturdy aluminum body, and sharp, clear glass. Well made, no glue marks on the inside. *Affordable. I paid $40 on Ebay. *Do not need to unscrew caps to adjust elevation or windage. Nice clicky feel. *It's not much bigger than the original finder. CON: *The LED switch is a bit difficult to turn. *The gap between clamps is wide (29mm). It barely made it on the existing rail. *Elevation and windage adjustment is limited. Had to use aluminum foil as a shim. *Crosshair cannot be rotated.
