Product Reliability VS Product Durability

What's the difference between product reliability vs product durability? Sofeast's CEO, Renaud Anjoran, and product design expert Andrew Amirnovin get to the bottom of this in this video. Products have several important attributes which need to be designed into them, such as aesthetics (does it look good and appealing?), its key promise of what it does, its performance, and then whether it will fail or not. So regarding the product's ability to stand up to normal use and not fail, we have product durability. Then when we assess the product's ability to withstand regular wear and tear, we have product reliability. Some examples of components and products are also given throughout, for instance, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 which had an infamous product design fault that wasn't picked up by the correct product reliability testing and was a fire risk due to short circuits after dropping.
