For anyone who has used linux, they know the usefulness of a symbolic link.
A symbolic link redirects to another location on the hard drive, while appearing to be the same directory.
For example, if you have C:\windows\system32, and you want to make a "Symbolic Link" at C:\System, and you want to run the program c:\windows\system32
otepad.exe you could simply run c:\system
otepad.exe as c:\system is symbolic to C:\windows\system32.
This is often used for cgibins and other server situations to symbolically link folders in the htdocs dir to folders and files outside of the htdocs dir with certain permissions. However there are many other useful situations.
HardLink is a BETA command line application for creating NTFS hardlinks(linux symbolic link equivalent).

As it is further developed it will be turned into a GUI based application integrated into the PANICS website which will allow you to store all your hardlinks on the PANICS webserver so you can re-create them at the click of a button.
