I made a tiramisu using matcha powder.It's not too sweet, with a perfectly balanced flavour and a touch of white milk chocolate on top. Ingredients: Matcha syrup • 2tsp matcha powder • 6tbsp hot water Cream cheese layer • 250g Philadelphia cream cheese(room temp) • 200ml heavy cream/whipping cream(chilled) • 3tbsp sugar • 1tsp vanilla extract Assembly • 18 pieces ladyfingers with sugar • matcha powder(for dusting) • grated white chocolate milk Instructions: 1. Make matcha syrup In a small bowl,whisk matcha and hot water untill smooth no lumps. 2. Make the Philadelphia cream cheese In a bowl,whip heavy cream until soft peaks form. In another bowl,mix Philadelphia cream cheese,sugar and vanilla until smooth. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture. 3. Assemble Quickly dip ladyfingers into the matcha syrup, don't soak too long or they'll fall apart. Arrange one layer of soaked lady fingers in a square dish. Spread half of the cream in top. Repeat another layer of ladyfingers and cream. 4. Chilled Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours,or overnight for the best texture. 5. Finish Before serving,sift matcha powder evenly on top.
