This video is part of the exhibition Design for a cooler planet 2022, where Lumir Oy together with the acoustics lab of Aalto University participated in. We talk about the carbon negative wood fibre based acoustic panels that the company Lumir Oy has developed in collaboration with Aalto University. As part of the exhibition, we included a material demo which involved an "acoustic booth" made of wood fibre based acoustic panels. Visitors were welcomed to experience the changes in the sound environment as they get into the booth. The video also presents the biofibre based acoustic coating that can be sprayed on any surface. The material has already being in the market for several years and it has been installed in over 300 buildings in Finland, including the prestigious Parliament House of Finland (https://lumir.fi/en/referenssi/parlia....
