This is a basic video that describes the difference between RGB and CMYK colour values. Graphic designers, photographers, and many other media-based individuals often required to supply an image a specific colour format. RGB is generally for screen use (as these are light values), and CMYK are for print (as these are ink values). The 'K' (black) in CMYK is generally regarded as the 'Key' colour as without the black many of the darker colours look muddy and less defined. Each colour mode cannot represent the other accurately (one is light the other is ink), so it's a good idea to convert your image into the appropriate format for it's purpose to avoid unexpected colour issues. The RGB values from your display can simulate CMYK, but still cannot represent all of the colours that can be printed using the four colour process (CMYK). This video only covers the basic differences, I am planning another video that explains colour in more detail.
