A PGR Careers Advisor at the university, Dr Prescott discusses how PhD students can better think about the skills they have gained as part of their research and how they can consider them from a careers perspective. The Postgraduate Research Festival is the largest celebration of postgraduate research at the University of Birmingham. Taking place on 27 and 28 June 2023, the Postgraduate Research Festival comprised a Welcome Address, two Keynote Talks, a Research Poster Competition exhibition, Images of Research display, short papers from current PhD students in ‘PGR Talks’, a chat about AI and bots in ‘UGS Discussions’, and an Awards Ceremony!
