He admits he does not know what will happen to the world afterward, but believes it is the only way forward. Denji desperately pleads with him to stop, refusing to lose his best friend again. In his final moments, Pochita reassures him that he has already seen all the dreams he ever wanted to experience. Throwing Denji one last peace sign, he tells him that he can still keep dreaming even without him. With that, Pochita devours himself and disappears from existence.
