Knitting in our Genes is a mother-daughter knitting-crafting podcast. Today I am flying solo and as usual I forgot to tell you that I am cpredmoron Revelry and Knitting in our genes on instagram. I am wearing a tee shirt that I bought in Bar Harbor Maine on one of uour trips up there for hiking in Acadia National Park. This week we have the last main color section of the Nevertheless shawl. It is a pretty easy section, but with the increase in stitches, it takes time and it helps to have a 60 inch circular needle - or any needle longer than 30 inches which is what I had on our car trip. Row 93. Restart MC, knit across, slipping markers Row 94 as usual with even numbered rows, k 3,sm, purl to border slipping markers, k3 Change to a 60 inch circular needle or you will work too hard to live stitches around. Row 95 increase row K3,sm, [k1, yo, sm] repeat to border, k3. Place stitch markers after each 20 stitches. 646 stitches Row 96 K3,sm,purl across row to border, k3 Row 97, K3, sm, knit across slipping markers, K3. Repeat these last 2 rows for a total of 24 rows Through row 119. Row 120. Cut MC with a long enough tail to weave in. Join CC2, k3, purl across slipping markers to border, k3. Lizz is not here, so please let me know if there is an error. I also worked on my Princess of Odds by Hinterm Stein https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/libr... And while we were away I started a smaller Christmas/Winter fairly counted cross stitch. I have become interested in making a quilt for the church for a raffle and that may come to fuition before i get my knee replaced, but we will see. Have a great Memorial Weekend and weave in those ends.
