Heat friendly wigs are amazing because you can style them any way you want. The problem though is that you have to consistently use heat on them to keep the fibers in good shape. Fabric from your clothes causes friction on the wig which can really make the ends look rough. It's my recommendation to use heat at around 300 degrees (max) to keep the fibers smooth and to do this after every few wears. For this video - I show you my Raquel Welch, Portrait Mode wig. I've worn her a lot for the last year and I regularly used heat on the ends. At this point, I needed to do something more drastic so I used the boiled water technique.
