In hall number two (crystal), the oldest glass, glass pipes and pottery are placed. The designer of the showcases of the Trichy Engineering Museum is Hans Hollein. The decorations of the building include the carving of the door frames and stairs and brickwork, which is in 50 types. This house is built on a mixture of Iranian architecture and European architecture. The design of its staircase is in the Russian style, but the art of Iranian architecture is seen in the carving of the doors and stairs, the stucco of the ceilings and columns, and the mirror work that is seen in it. After the revolution in 1989, sections were added to the mirror work on the second floor, which featured religious and revolutionary themes. The museum's stucco work includes two periods: the Western era and style during the time of the Egyptian embassy, ​​and the mirror work on the second floor, which dates back to the Qajar era. The Glass Museum is built on two floors with five halls, two of which display glass and pottery from the pre-Islamic era, and three halls on the second floor display works from the Islamic era. The museum's library is also located on the northwest side.
