Tiger and Kelly welcome A.J. and talk about her vision for the upcoming season. One of the very first ideas she brought to the table to celebrate 100 years of Brigantine is a fun limited-edition release: • 100 Brigantine Hoodies – $45 each • 100 Brigantine Coolers – $12 each Because these are limited items, there will be a limit of 3 per person. A.J. will announce the sale 48 hours before they go live, so make sure you follow the Beach Fee Office on social media so you don’t miss the drop. But spots will go fast because it’s first come, first serve. How it works: • Businesses drop off a bag of goodies on Monday • On Friday, the Brigantine Living team stuffs the bag LIVE on IG and shares the mystery image • The FIRST person to arrive at the market and correctly identify the image wins the entire bag It’s fun, it’s fast, it drives people to the market, and it shines a spotlight on local businesses. Spotlight on Local was inspired by a recurring social media post Kelly created when she first moved here 10 years ago. Now, Brigantine Living, in collaboration with the Beach Fee Office, is giving it a fresh new twist—focusing on Brigantine’s brick-and-mortar businesses. Businesses can sign up using the Google Form linked below and on our website. Once they register, their business name goes into the cooler — and when we’re ready to film… We pull a name and off we go. The city has 50 coolers set aside just so we can have some fun with these visits. Example: If we pull Sandy Jack’s Deli, they might create a challenge like: “The first person to buy a sandwich and a Boost wins the cooler.” But here’s the fun part… We’re not scheduling these. We film on Mondays and release the content on Wednesdays — just in time to get everyone excited for the weekend crowd. Spontaneity for the win. Community Involvement Kids and grownups — we want you involved too. Beach Tag Hours: Wednesday- Saturday 9:00 to 3:30 After Memorial Day: Open 7 days a week BEACH TAG Pricing • Regular Seasonal Tags: $20 after May 1st they will be regular price, $25 • Ages 60–64 (ID required) : $10 after May 1st they will be regular price • 65+: Free (ID required – photo + DOB) • Veterans: Free with Military ID (DD214 accepted) 4X4 Beach Pass Pricing Senior pass (age 60+) - $80 after May 1st they are $100 Regular 4x4 pass - $200 after May 1st they are $300 License & registration required 🌽 Segment 5: Beach Tags at the Farmers Market For even more convenience, beach tags will also be available at the Brigantine Farmers Market. 📍 Memorial Day through Labor Day 🕗 Saturday mornings | 8 AM – Noon 💵 Cash only It’s one more way the Beach Fee Office is making things easier for residents and visitors heading to the beach. 🎨 Segment 6: Local Artwork Coming to the Beach Fee Office A.J. and Jane also share exciting news about a new opportunity for local artists. The Beach Fee Office will begin featuring artwork from Brigantine artists inside the office, creating a rotating showcase of local creativity. More details are coming soon, but the goal is simple: celebrate the talent that lives right here on the island. This is just the beginning.
