Bow Build Along. This is the first step once you have the wood you are going to use. -Choose which side will be the Belly and Back of the bow. -Clamp the wood to a straight edge as needed. -Determine the center of the wood. -Draw a line 3.5" on both sides of the center (future handle) -On the side of the bow measure 3/4" from the back of the bow at the end of each handle area. -At the tip draw a line 1/2" from the back of the future bow -Connect the lines For the tips measure 15" from tip on back of the bow Measure 1/2" at center Connect the lines Reduce wood on the belly first, then reduce the tips.
