This Vintage Prather Lap Cat II F1 Tunnel Hull has been a pain in the behind to get to a point where I can turn at speed & under power. Finally!! We're going in the right direction! Since this RC boat design requires an outboard motor, the setup is completely foreign to me, so testing various ideas & hoping they work is all i can do. The K&B 7.5 Outboard with the electric brushless conversion seems to be a solid unit! I like that the flex cable is 3/16" / .187 this way, we can spin some big props! Now that we have achieved a satisfactory run in this video, all there is to do is fine tuning & adjustments. I also need to play around with weight distribution, turn fin angle, and trim settings on the outboard. If you have any recommendations, please feel free to comment on my video!
