The noise reduction coefficient is 0.90 of most of the products manufactured by the company. • Can acoustic foam be removed later ? Yes, you can remove acoustic foam and shift it to a new place if required. But understand that anything stuck using adhesive on any surface shall damage the wall and product. The product loss could be 5% if removed gently. Double sided tapes may or may not work so well with the product as its a high density original acoustic foam. A reasonable acoustics can be achieved in 25% coverage of wall areas. More you cover the wall, better will be room acoustics. This depends upon the room size, shape and exposed reflective area in the room. Usually we suggest a minimum coverage of 50% wall area if its a designated studio. You can cover 100% too with a combination of diffusers and bass traps. • Acoustic Foam in only to cancel reverb and it does not block sound, is this true ? Yes it is true but MMT Acoustix® acoustic foam is made with highest density and high grade material which is better than 90% brands available in the market GLOBALLY. On coverage of 100% room walls and ceiling, our acoustic foam can reduce sounds upto 10-15 Db stand alone • How much does it cost ? It starts from Rs 120 per sqft and goes upto Rs 250 per sqft depending upon choice of products and thicknesses. • Does it smells like rockwool/glasswool panels Absolutely NOT If you like till here, you may love to subscribe, like and share the video with friends who would like this information. • Acoustic Foam absorbs High and Mid frequencies, what about the lows and bass ? Sound Insulation pads are made in such a way that it absorbs low frequency sound waves easily. Also use of Bass Traps on the corners for trapping mighty corner bass. • Do i actually save money with this treatment ?
